THE PEANUT BUTTER SUCKER

Designing Confections That Became Stories Worth Sharing.

During my time at The Peanut Butter Sucker, I had the opportunity to blend design, marketing, and storytelling to help the brand grow and gain national media exposure on Netflix, iHeart Radio's 107.5 The River Nashville, Kentucky Bride, and ChefWorks. My work spanned across digital and physical experiences, always with a focus on creating memorable, shareable moments for clients while also shaping emerging trends within the confectionery industry.

The Process

We began each project by listening closely to the client and learning what their event meant to them. A first sketch turned those conversations into something tangible, giving space for feedback and alignment. From there, we carried the vision into a coordinated website that mirrored the design and kept all details organized.

Capturing Moments in Real Time

To grow the bakery’s social media following, we needed timely, professional photos from events. Too often, photos arrived weeks later, making it hard to capture the energy while it was still fresh. To solve this, we built a workflow that included capturing content on site, engaging through stories in the moment, and following up with polished photos. This reduced the turnaround time from weeks to a single day and allowed us to share fresh content that kept the audience connected in real time.

A Shared Vision

Styled shoots gave us the chance to collaborate with fellow photographers, florists, venues, and other local creatives. These projects were about more than beautiful photos. They became a way to share ideas, support one another’s work, and grow together as an industry. By uplifting each partner, we strengthened not only the bakery’s brand but also the creative network around it.

To keep the bakery ahead of trends, I developed a custom product line using 3D printing and laser cutting, techniques rare in small-batch confectionery. These innovations created signature designs that stood out in the market, boosted repeat business, and positioned the brand as both artisanal and forward-thinking.

"Working with The Peanut Butter Sucker showed me how design and brand awareness can come together to create more than products. They create experiences people remember. Every cake was more than dessert, it was a story told through flavor and the power of connection."
